After I reformat a computer, I take many steps to get the computer ready for the user. The first thing that I do after I reformat a computer is update the computer. To Update a computer you must go to Update.Microsoft.Com. After that install the series of updates, however, this may take some time. After I update I begin to install software. First I install Microsoft Office, either 2003 or 2007, then I install an antivirus suite. I personally use bitdefender however if there are many free antivirus softwares out there. After I install the software I check to see if Microsoft has any more updates. Once that completes I then place all the old files, such as documents, back onto the computer.
