Recently word has been spreading that Windows XP Service Pack 3 is coming out, however, for the time being, it is only available to beta testers. Until now that was true but there is a way to download it through the Microsoft Website. There are alternatives, such as downloading it from rapidshare or other sites , however these alternatives aren’t as safe as downloading it from Microsoft themselves.
To get SP3 you must download this file. Once you download this file and run it you just update your computer and SP3 will be available. Note when updating your computer Click Custom Rather then Express and manually choose it. To update your computer go ot Update.Microsoft.com
