This helpful hint is useful when you somehow forget your password for an account. There are two ways to reset the password:One is to use an administrator account and the other is to use command prompt without an administrator account.

If you know that password for the Administrator account it is quite easy to reset a password for an individual user. Click Start then right click My Computer and then go to Manage. Once there expand local user and groups and the right click on the username and click set password. If you wish to choose no password leave it blank.

The second method is useful when you do not have an administrator account. To reset a password in command prompt click start and then Run, in the box type CMD. After you enter it a black box will appear. In the box type “Net UserAccountName *” without quotes.

 So on my computer it will look like

” C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>net user Admin *”.

 Hit enter and it will ask for the new password and if you don’t want to put in a password, leave it blank.

There are conditions to download as mush as you like from Rapidshare. For this to work you must have a Dynamic IP. Your IP address is basically what identifies your computer on the Internet, it is also how rapidshare.com knows when to limit the amount of downloads you can use. First download a file from Rapidshare then, once your limit is reached, reset your modem. Once your modem has reset you will be assigned a new IP address. With the new IP you can download a file right after the other one.

For those who don’t have a dynamic ip address there are alternatives: You can use Premium link generators. There are limits to using these unfortunately, but it still helps download multiple files sooner. Most generators limit you to around 3 or 4 files and also expect a lot of downtime when using these sites because they are so popular.
