What are file storage servers and why would you use them? Well these servers allow anyone across the net to place files onto the site and the reason you might want to do this is so that you can share files with other people. For instance, say you have a song you want someone to here that lives in India. You would upload the file to the server then give the person the link so he or she may download it. There are two file storage servers that I use, one is Rapidshare and Megaupload. In my experience more people use rapidshare. With rapidshare you can upload files up to 100 Megabytes and with Megaupload you have a limit of 500mb. The only downside is that you cannot download as many files as you like. Once you reach their limit you must wait a certain amount of time before you may download again.
